I just got HDTV hooked up on my HLN507W and it looks great.


However, DTV gave me the CBS HD channel for the super bowl tomorrow (ch 81 i think) and the screen appears offset to the right by about 1 inch on this channel only.


there is a thin grey line on the left hand side of the screen.


Any advice on how to remedy this is highly appreciated.

You can adjust monitor centering (x,y) in the samsung dlp service menu...you can also adjust monitor centering (x or horizontal only) in the samsung stb (you didn't mention which stb you have).


But, you mention that your image is only offset on the (1) channel, so I don't think either of these adjustments are in order. It appears to be a problem with the broadcast signal. You could, however, offset the monitor for that one channel via the monitor setup in the stb service menu and then change it back after the game...


Or, maybe call D* and inquire?
