So far I'm going with 73 inches wide with my AE100. Going to try larger. I basically have an oversized peice of blackout material on my wall. So far, sitting 12 feet away and defocussing is working great. Only ever see minimal screendoor in bright white areas. I hope to make my screen as big as possible. I don't think I see the need for a screen larger than 106" diagonal. I may end up with a screen between 80" and 106" diagonal. Haven't decided yet. This AE100 is lookin good so far.
Looks like I'm going with approximately 77 to 78" wide just cause thats what fits on my wall. Viewing distance on average will be 1.85x screen width. With proper defocus I see almost no screen door at all, only tiny bits here and there and its nothing that concerns me.
