  1. I have already made a 103" x 58" screen with BOC and poplar 1x3's with two vertical supports.
  2. I have already bought GOM FR701 Black.
  3. I have linacoustic.
  4. I also have OC 705 cut into triangles and installed in the two front corners. I have covered that with linacoustic and GOM and stapled them.

Question about screen wall! Should I cover the entire screen wall with linacoustic and GOM. Then hang the BOC screen on top of it or shall I cut linacoustic to fit behind the screen frame and hang the frame on the wall and then put linacoustic and GOM around the screen.

It's up to you. The GOM is just to finish the walls so how you do it is your decision.

In my situation, I built a false wall in front of the wall that linacoustic mounted to and I built a shadow box around my screen so that my screen mounts about 8" back from the front of the false wall. So in case, my screen is technically mounted in front of bare linacoustic and my GOM is around the sreen (on the false wall).

Look at some of the larger threads to see how others have done it.

Best of luck. Bud

My setup is very similar to yours, but I used an AT screen material since my speakers are placed behind the screen. I wrapped some borders (like 3 1/4" MDF floor moulding) with Velveteen, and used that to border the screen to give it a professional look.

I framed out the false wall with 2x4s, ripped in half, painted them black and then wrapped them with Black GOM and my screen is friction fitted into the opening.

you can see my build below for some details.

good luck.

ps, a tip, before you wrap your BOC on the Poplar frame, paint it black.
