I bought this tv from someone on craigslist. They have only had it for 2 weeks then regretted spending that much money on a TV.


It worked great for a month then at the bottom of the screen there was a bar across it where the picture was slightly darker. Couple days went by and then had some ghosting and now when you turn it on theres no picture, only sound.


Do I have any options? I sold my tv that this replaced and I can only stand this 19-inch tv i have for so long now.

Do you know the original date of purchase? It may still be covered under manufacturers' warranty(hopefully beyond the original owner).Otherwise,you have a very expensive problem to fix.

Try unplugging, and then resetting everything to factory default.

It sounds like the panel is shot,though.

Hopefully,you didn't spend too much on the set.

I dont know the exact date, I was just told what I said previously. So Im guessing no more than 4 months.
