I am setting up a media room in my new house and am wondering what kind of screen to get. I have a used projector. It has 1400 lumens and the contrast ratio is 300:1. The aspect ratio is 4X3. I just dont know what kind of screen to get.

I am looking to have a 100 or 120 inch screen. There are just so many different types of material out there. I know that my contrast is pretty low so I would want something that takes advantage of my high lumens/low contrast setup. I am looking to spend $1200 or less.

Also where is a good place to get a screen at. I am looking to just do a fixed wall setup.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I assumed that you wanted a fixed screen. I would recommend the Dalite High Contrast DaMat. It is a gray screen with a .8 gain. It will improve your black levels, while also giving you a very uniform image. Prices can range depending on the frame, but you can easily be under $1200.

Thanks!
