Has anyone used an apollo screen? What are the comparisons between Apollo and Da Lite model B's. Im looking for the best inexpensive manual pulldown screen for the money.I just purchased an X1 and will be looking at the 50x67, 70x70 screens.

The Da-Lite Model B is a good basic screen. Why would you want a 70x70 screen? Displaying a 4:3 picture you would have 9 inches of unused screen at the top and at the bottom; displaying a 16:9 picture would leave 15.5 inches of screen unused at the top and at the bottom. If it is a choice between 70x70 or 67x50 you should definitely opt for the 67x50 -- a 4:3 image will fill the screen and a 16:9 image will just have 5.5 inch letterbox bars.

As you probally guessed Im a newbee. Im trying to get the biggest manual pulldow that is less than 80" total width. Unfortunatlly my best space is a litle limited . Your right about the 67x50.
