I'm building a DIY mount and all I need to know is the hole size and thread so I can pickup the correct screws at a hardware shop. I can't remember if it uses imperial or metric screws, but I do know its not the standard thread you find everywhere. If someone knows what it is, it could save me having to take the whole thing down to the store to match it.

I believe it is a mm4(metric screw). Well that is what I used on my Infocus 4805 and now my IN72 with no problems.

4mm x .7mm threads ...

Just bought mine at the good ol' HD .... but they only had 29MM long ones
... which don't work the way i want on my mount ... so i had to order longer ones online ... HD has a pretty weak selection of machine screws ...

Tino,

You can purchase M4 screws with various head styles and lengths at Pacific Fasteners Ltd, 3934 1st Avenue in Burnaby. The facility is located just past Boundary Road on the south side of the street near the top of the hill.

The fastener length will depend on your mounting configuration; just remember not to exceed the maximum depth provided in the projector in your calculations as you could damage your projector in one form or another.

My IN72 has developed a 4" white vertical line down the screen length. I keep it in a closet and take it out only once in a while. It worked fine a month ago and now, no good. I called InFocus and they think it's a chip. Anyone have a similar thing happen?
