What is the best video processor with SDI or DVI inputs?

I'm trying to put together an all digital dvd solution for feeding a 9"CRT 9500LC projector. Please refer to my thread at dvd hardware section:

So far I found the Rock+ and the Leeza. Can you please tell me your personnal experience with either unit? Are there any other processors with digital inputs?

Vigatec is probably considered as one of the best. I have one with SDI and have not yet seen anything better. I am not including Terranex or other recently declassified military stuff with self contained generators:)

Here is an e-mail I got from Vigatec:

Dear Flavio,

thank you for your interest in our products.

As you see on our hompage www.vigatec.de we have differnt scalers:

- if you have only interlaced video sources there is the VC 1280

- if you want to scale also progressive sources or HDTV you need

at least the GVC 1280

- if you want additional a nicer front panel and a On Screen Display

for adjustments there is the DUNE.

All these devices can be upgraded with a single or a triple SDI input.

As DVD players with SDI output we prefer Pioneer players:

- There is the DVD MAX based on a Pioneer DV737 or

- the DVD MAX+ based on a Pioneer DV747 on a higher level.

I hope I could help you with this informations.

Best regards

So another option would be the Dune processor with a Pioneer with SDI mod. Have any of you tried this configuration? Doesn't the Pionners have the chroma bug even with SDI mod?
