I found "7" using search then selecting auto record.. then went to my shows and confirmed same
also there is no series search... you select series record from guide... using record button or select then record series..
It may be possible to set the series record to record all airings and then auto won't find any because they are already being recorded... Clearing the recording events then doing a search again recovers such what may appear to be abnormalties.
