I hope someone can help me out finding a product that works for my setup.

I'm looking for a Scaler that can upscale VGA 4:3 and Component 4:3/16:9 sources to 1080p HDMI while maintaining the correct Aspect ratio instead of stretching it to a 16:9 widescreen 1080p ouput with a stretched Aspect Ratio

Not really a HDMI issue. Most decent video processors have aspect ratio controls, including the DVDO models.

Not sure how many support all the inputs the Edge does. It accepts VGA via RGBHV on the back along with component video separately.
