I was wondering if there were any technicians in the audience that could help me find the 12V Rail in an Onkyo TX-SR600 amplifier so I can fit a couple of PC Power Supply fans to some lexan ducting to cool the amp.
I live in the tropics of Australia where the coldest temp in the middle of a winter's night is around 10degC and the average daily temp is 28-34degC which needless to say is damn HOT.
I notice the amplifier begins to shutdown (volume cuts out) when its working, and the heat coming out is quite noticeable.
I am open to suggestions on how to solve this problem as I personally think its getting quite serious. I have 2 fans which I want to fit to already constructed lexan duct.
Thanks
