When I first hooked up my DST-3000 a week ago, I got rock-solid signal strengths of 100 on all of the Seattle locals. Now last night CBS (KIRO) was fluctuating wildly between 10 and 80 with no consistent lock possible, and this morning it was pretty much zero, as was the KCTS channel 2 (which was fine at a solid 100 last night). What could explain this?

I'm going to go over all of my connections this weekend to try to troubleshoot it. But it seems odd to me that it would go from a rock-solid never-varying 100 signal strength to the almost non-signal I am seeing now. Especially since I think that NBC (KING) broadcasts from the same location as CBS (KIRO) and my KING signal is still a solid 100.

For reference, I'm a few blocks west of Phinney on Phinney Ridge.

I'm surprised...I would expect solid signals...unless you've got multipath problems. I live on the south end of Fidalgo Island. I've got multipath problems and consequently the signals drop out a lot. Except for KCPQ, which is really rock solid. Good Luck. Art
