Is anyone getting the Bama-Arkansas broadcast in HD? Not here in Charlotte on Time Warner. I know the game is delayed and the studio shots won't be in HD while they're waiting it out, but the shots from Tuscaloosa weren't in HD either.

What the hell is wrong with CBS? Last week it wasn't until the 4th quarter that the announcers audio could be heard. Now again this week you can't hear the announcers. How hard is it to get the audio to work!!!!

Still not in HD in Charlotte. As I mentioned, I was referring to the shots from Tuscaloosa, not the studio shots or the tape from last year. I just called the engineering dept and they said they are sending it out HD. Must be a TW problem.

Powers: Last week I called both CBS and TWC. CBS said that they were broadcasting HD and TWC had no idea at all. In fact a TWC person knocked on my door this Tuesday to follow up. How dumb! If you want to call CBS use their news line. Good luck.

I doubt it is TWC, they generally get it ota and send it out. You need someone in Charlotte to check ota. TWC and CBS here in Columbia working fine together. I have only 2.0 ,as my local CBS has not upgraded their equipment. The volume does seem to go up and down slightly, especially in the center channel.

TWC does not have the ability to pass SD instead of HD on the HD channel. I'll bet the local CBS station is sending out 4.3. They had the same problem last week.

It's not just the Charlotte station, WSPA in Greenville is showing it in SD as well.

Game looks great today. More clouds generally helps to cut down on some of the motion artifacts that I usually see.

HD in Dayton and Cincinnati.


There were some HD shots from the Stadium on the Cincy station at 3:30pm, it was SD in Dayton at that time -- Called the Dayton station at 3:39pm, It looked like they switched the feed a few seconds later, but everything was in SD from that point on for both stations until after the Weather Delay when HD was back from both stations for the start of game ...

I'm getting it in HD DD5.1 on WRAL-DT 5 (53-1) out of Raleigh NC on TWC and on OTA reception.


I'm getting it in HD DD2.0 Surround on WBTW-DT 13 (56-1) out of Florence SC by OTA reception.


No noticable motion artifacting on my 57 incher from neither of the stations I'm receiving it on. Even on close motion shots. Which is suprisingly since I use to see motion artifacting on CBS games.
