I just got my Panasonic 42PWD5UY and it looks great! I bought it from VisualApex for $3790 including shipping and a tilt mount.

I'm watching DVDs with the s-video output of my Sony DVP-5330. Will I see a noticeable improvement if I upgrade to a progressive-scan component output DVD Player? If so, what do you recommend?

Out of the players you listed how do they compare. I have 9000es that I can return if I want. I was considering the 999es but I heard the Panasonics and Denon units don't have the chroma bug. Out of the Panasonic units, the rp-91 looks more durable but seems to be older tech. Is the 82 a better picture than the 91? Does the 91 have the chroma bug since it has the Genesis chip? Other than Multichannel SACD how does the 999es differ from the 9000es? Thanks,

Fulmtiz
