For some reason I can no longer stream replay to replay (4000). When I check the replay guide from the basement I can see the living room replay but it says "Select another replay to view it's replay guide".

Memory is 1563k/1572k

Any ideas? I can force a net connect from both machines so I know they are both set up on the lan properly.

Thanks,

Jerz

Did one of them get today's software upgrade, but not both? Maybe there's a version incompatibility after all.

But the 4000s are getting the 4500 software automatically anyway... so if there is an incompatibility they've already fixed it. It would only occur in the rare case that the software is not updated on a 4000 box.

Which is why I asked if one of the boxes had the upgrade, but not both...

I thought that was going to fix it but... these things are acting quirky. I did have to upgrade the software on at least one of the machines (I didn't do a 411 zones on the other before I forced a net connect but one prompted me to reboot and the other did not). Problem is that I recently relocated one of the replays (to make room for the RIO central).

Sounds like I might need to check my cat5 wires unless you have another suggestion.

FYI - on the upstairs replay I was able to connect and play a show from the basement but kept getting the no video signal thing every few seconds until the basement replay crashed.

Thanks.
