I currently have the Sennheiser HD-477 and they sound OK, but I would like to have a little more deep bass and a little less midbass, and a flatter sound and smaller headphones to be more managable in the train or college shuttle.

Do you think the Sennheiser PX-100, Koss Porta Pro, or Grado SR-60 would be a big upgrade if I sell my HD-477 on Ebay, or do you think they'd be just a sidegrade?

Anyway, here's the frequency response graph comparing the 4.

I own both the Grado SR60 and the Koss PortaPro. Compared to the Grados, the PortaPro is not going to get you there, especially for bass. I have not ever listened to those Senns, so I can't tell you anything other than that.
