I can see this release day as being costly to some folks. I'm definitely going with Gladiator and Braveheart. I have decisions to make but may pull the trigger on some others as well depending on the price.

What is your plan?

What will I be buying on September 1st?

I'll tell you what I'll be buying.

I'll be buying the first Blu-Ray discs in well over a month.

This drought of top shelf releases is stunning - thank God July and August are over. Last BD I bought was Ghostbusters - that's two solid months.

September breaks the drought, with Braveheart, Gladiator, ST movies and Season 2... thank God.

By September 1 I'm assuming you mean the whole month.

Anyway, September 1 M*A*S*H and September 29 The Wizard of Oz. Gladiator is really tempting but I don't think I'll double dip on it.

I really shudder at TWoZ's price, but if Casablanca is any indication I don't want to wait 10 or 11 months for the regular edition to come out. I guess you have to pay to play.

July and August have been pretty barren for titles I want to buy,

After going through the list, September may wind up being an expensive Blu Ray month for me if I get all that I want, although some can wait until Christmas if need be:

Sept 1:

Gladiator

Braveheart

Rest of Sept:

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (I might be one of the few who loved this movie)

Star Trek TOS season 2

Star Trek TNG Movie collection

If rumour holds true, I might get the Canadian edition of Equilibrium if it indeed comes out in September.

Out of all of them, though, the only two I think I *must* have in September are Gladiator and X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

I've seen Braveheart and Gladiator so many times I'd like to think I can wait a month or two so I don't have to pay close to $30 for them each....but we'll see if I see them on the shelf if I can resist.

What, there is a conflict?
At least you thought of and mentioned your children, isn't that enough?
