Hey guys,

I've finally got my projector in a hushbox. Well, its kind of a half hushbox really, and since most of the noise comes out of the vents on the bottom, you can still hear it whining away. Just not as loud. Anyway, it looks TONS better, than the bare mount I had before.

One of the inconveniences of the hushbox is that the ir port is now hidden, unless you get right up on the projector. Is there a way to control this guy, via girder? What kind of cable do I need? Is it just a basic serial cable?

Thanks,

If you are interested in getting it integrated into a full fledged control system so that you can (over time as you are able) continue to grow your automation system into a really slick system, then check out our product CQC . I don't currently have a driver for that projector, but I'll be happy to do the driver for you and help you get it under control, if you want to move forward with it.

If the serial protocol is available, it is easy to do with Girder.

You could use an IR repeater to do this as well. You can find them at Radio Shack, Walmart, Home Depot, for
