Am trying to connect Showstopper2000 to Hughes GCEBO box. Replay has a serial connector and Hughes has a RJ22 connector. Have found TIVO has such a cable, anyone know if it will work? Has anyone found such a cable pre-made? Thanks

You should be able to call customer service and buy the db9 to rj connector that's included with the Replaytvs.

Lyndon, Thanks for the response. Called cust service (in India!) and they indicated they have a RJ11 to serial connector I might be able to use. As far as you know is there no RJ22 adapter?

It's actually an rjh connector. But, I've talked to customers who've used the GCEBO and I was under the impression the cable we sold worked. How's the RJ22 different from the RJH or RJ11. I thought it was a similar connector. I've looked at a diagram of the back of a GCEBO and it looks like a phone jack.

Lyndon, looks like a std phone jack only smaller, is typically used for the handset connection on a phone.

Ok, the adapter we have is an RJH adapter which I believe is smaller than the RJ11. Plus, I know of a couple customers using that adapter with the GCEBO.

I'm currently using this exact setup. The included RJH to 9 pin adapter works fine.
