I recently found out that my TV does not retain Cinema Mode for individual input sources. I had hoped that I could set Cinema Mode=Film for my HD DVD input and Cinema Mode=Video for the satellite input. So what I need is a way for the remote to change the Cinema Mode depending on the input source. This seems tricky because to do this via the TV remote would be:

Settings/down arrow/down arrow/down arrow/(now on Cinema Mode option)/Enter/right arrow (to change mode)

I assume the only way to do that on the Harmony is to simulate each of those key strokes.

Correct? Anyone else have this issue and if so how did you resolve?

Thanks

Tell us what model TV you have. Someone may have found an easier way to do what you are looking for.

It a Toshiba 65HM167.

I really shouldn't have to figure out a way to do this with the 880. The problem is that the TV does not associate a Cinema Mode setting with particular source input. if it held the Cinema Mode setting with the source the same way it does color, contrast, etc. I'd be set.
