I have been reading A LOT in this section. I am still a novice with regards to home theater audio. One question I have is what should I do with my crossover settings for my setup. Here are the speakers and sub:

BIC America Venturi V1220 Subwoofer

Athena C1, 2 F1's, and 2 Point 5's in the rear

My room is 14x24. I watch HDTV, HD DVD/Blu-ray/DVD, and play Wii. My current receiver (Harman Kardon AVR-247) can set the crossover for each speaker. I run PCM over HDMI for the Hi-def players and bitstream DD from the satellite.

And my sub has a crossover setting as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

1. You set the AVR's crossover about 10Hz above each speaker's rated -3dB low end point.

2. You turn OFF the sub's crossover or, if you cannot, turn it to the highest frequency it has.
