So, I have a 10' wide by 14' long room that I am looking to setup a small A/V room.

I have the following so far.

Optoma HD70 projector - HDMI

BDP-S301 Blueray Player - HDMI

Nintendo Wii - HDMI

Those are the only devices I will ever hook into the receiver. All I need is something that will allow me to run one cable to my projector and know to switch the audio/video when I switch between my Wii and Blueray Player. If it does true HD that would be even better but not necessary.

I have 4 wall mount speakers currently in each corner of the room.

I was thinking of the HK 247.

Is there a Yamaha that will get the job done or a Denon for around $300?

I guess the technical question I am trying to get answered is that my BDPS301 doesnt due TRUEHD decoding internally... I know if you set it to PCM then it supposidly sounds like HD, but it will not light up the TRUEHD light due to the PCM setting and the decoding method.

Is it worth getting a TRUEHD Receiver if my Blueray technically doesnt output TRUEHD over HDMI?

I will be running a 5.1 Klipsch setup.

Thanks!
