Hey everyone. I've tried and tried to figure this out...so i'm hoping someone could give me some guidance. I have two tvs in one room (48"plasma and Optoma hd70 projector). Both tvs only have hdmi wires run to them. i would like to be able to send all inputs to either television. here is what i have.
48" Phillips Plasma
Optoma HD 70 projector
Onkyo tx-sr606. it has 4 inputs and 1 output
Hdmi splitter HDX-402 (4x2). it has 4 inputs and 2 outputs
i have the following units i'd like to be able to send to the tvs
Dish VIP 622 DVR
Dish VIP 211
Samsung Blu ray
Wii
(computer... down the line)
I can only use hdmi to the televisions. I'd like to be able to use my harmony remote and send whatever i'd like to which ever television i wanted to. The project has no sound so whenever i use the projector the reciever has to send sound to speakers. I also want to able to watch the news on the plasma without using the receiver. Just normal use. Please let me know if you have any questions and can guide me through this mess.
