We had a power outtage that lasted all of 45 minutes and I was shocked to see that my HK AVR 235 had all settings reset to their default values (speaker levels, input assignment, etc.). I'm pretty sure I unplugged the receiver before and it maintained the settings. Is there some kind of time limit for the memory?

Also, I got the impression from the manual that you can maintain different settings for each input but it seems that it is for each signal type (PCM, Dolby Digital, etc.) rather than physical input (Video1, Video2, etc.). So, if I play a Dolby Digital source from my satellite box on Video1 input and from a DVD player on DVD input they have to share the same settings? Is this right? Seems like a strange way to do it. I basically would like different subwoofer levels for different physical inputs.

Lastly, I have never been able to get different A/V delay settings for each input. It seems that this is a global setting which isn't very useful for me. Can someone verify this?

Thanks for any help.
