Does anyone have any good ideas/recommendations how to adjust the settings on an NRS (or any processor for that matter) for an NTSC input.


I have used Video Essentails to set the DVD input, but I am perplexed as how to optimize my settings for my DirecTv input.


I don't have any pattern or test signal to aim for, so I am just stuck with moving controls willy nilly until the picture looks better. I am hoping there is a more efficient way to do this.


Can anyone share how they have set up their processors or recommend another tool/utility to assist with this?

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good way to calibrate the settings on a Video Processor for a DirecTV input?


Is it worthwhile to pay a technician to come out and give it a shot? My concern is that he would only be setting the processor for DVD input. Would he just go by "gut feel" for the DirecTv input?


Surely someone has run into this before. Any thoughts are appreciated.
