Live in Fremont, CA and looking for info on OTA HD Antenna. Checked Antennaweb and found that all channels that I am interested in (ABC, CBS, etc.) are oriented at 285 degrees except for KNTV (NBC) which is at 148 degrees and KICU (Ind) which is at 104 degrees. Can someone provide infor for a good antenna, preferability outside (VHF/UHF/FM), that can bring in all of these stations? Thanks

Idrain,

You could try a medium sized RS UHF/VHF antenna for everything on Mt Sutro and a small VHF for KNTV on Loma Preita. As for KICU, I would think the combo UHF/VHF would work since your so close to the transmitter. You would need a channel 12 joiner to combine the two.

A channel 12 joiner is nothing more than a specialized filter that in this case filters out channel 12 on the main antenna and traps channel 12 on the secondary antenna and joins the two signals together such that your receiver thinks it's connected to just one antenna. BTW a channel xx joiner comes in may flavors such that you must specify which channel you want to join when you purchase one.
