SGHT oct. issue says best HT was by outlaw audio room

I received my SGHT issue today and read on page 37 "More modest, though not cheap, was the home-theater system demonstrated in the Outlaw Audio Room, with Outlaw's electronics driving the new Atlantic Technology 8200 speaker system"


Question is, what processor was Outlaw using? I assume their 950? By the way the AT 8200 Ultra2 speaker system lists for $17000 fully loaded.

Outlaw was using their 950 and I believe the 7100 amp. Peter Tribeman himself was doing the demo! The AT's sounded good, but for $17K.... I initially thought I was going to upgrade my AT System 350 to the 8200's until I saw the price!

Yeah, the Outlaw combo was pretty darn good! Good Bang for the Buck! The combo drove the AT's pretty good and loud. I think there must have been around 20 people in the demo room. The demo room also had some sound treatment.
