Hi Guys,

My theater room design requires that I find front and center speakers that are 8" to 11" deep max.

I am going to flush mount them with the screen, and this is the most space I can spare before I mess up my screen to projector ratio.

Does anyone have any advice on great sounding front and center speakers that are at the most 11" deep?

I have a 12" JBL sub that should handle the bass pretty well. I'm just looking for some great rich speakers in around the $1,200.00 max catagory for the front three together.

By the way, my system is:

100" DaLite 16x9 Cinema Contour screen

BenQ8720 Projector

Any advice is truly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Monster,

Thanks for the response. inwalls are not an option for me. The wall that the screen is going on cannot be cut into.

Looking for floorstanding (preferred) or bookshelf ideas in the measurement range.

Thanks

Hey,

Thanks for the advice.

I was surfing around and found this package:

2 KEF IQ5 fronts (10.3" depth)

KEF IQ2C center (8.9" depth)

2 KEF IQ1 bookshelves for the surrounds

KEF PSW 2500 powered sub

Is this a good set-up? Anyone KEF savvy?

I'm going to try and listen to some of these this weekend. My time is short. I have to have the speakers in my hands by 1/23.

Anyone heard the KEF IQ2C center speaker before. Looks real basic, just one driver. The ICQ6C looks killer, but it breaks my bank.

Check Definitive Technology MYTHOS speakers out. What is your budget? Definitive Technology has a new awesome speaker coming out called the MYTHOS ST. Its getting great write ups from CES. I heard other sets of MYTHOS speakers and they certainly are amazing. Great clarity and are veryu well built and sturdy. the MYTHOS ST will be out in April. J.H.
