I hope my understanding of the term soundstage is correct...anyways here's my prob..I have just moved into a new house, where the TV room is much larger. I'm using Paradigm atoms for the stereo fronts and a cc-170 for the center. Now while this setup was great in my last place, now the soundstage seems distant- closer to the TV, I have been unable to correct by adjusting the speaker positioning. The listening distance to the 3 front speakers is approx 9.5 ft, the room is 13x15 ft. So perhaps this setup is too small for the new place? Would upgrading to larger speakers, i.e. Paradigm monitor 3's with a cc-370 solve this issue?
