I decided to get Sharp 10k, now I am looking into what screen to get. I went to a store and saw demos of Sharp 10k on Stewart perforated white screen and Sharp 9K on Firehawk. The image on firehawk is dim/not punchy, and I did not like it. I was not sure if it was the screen or the 9K problem. I plan to mount my projector on ceiling. I need 106" diag 16x9, sitting distance at 15' and 20', and my room is light controlled. Will hi-power white screen be good for my application?

Yes.

Likely the best.

Then price makes it no contest-if you care.

First of all, the highpower is great if you are planning on table mounting your projectorn and you are getting a pulldown. If you are getting a wallscreen and ceiling mounting your screen, then I would get the Cinema Vision (1.3 gain white screen)

The highpower is made for table mounted projectors

Most likely subbing 1 screen(1.3) gain for another of same gain will not cure the major complaint of "DIM" picture.

Reread classic Iceman posts of HP screen with yes gasp...ceiling mount PJ's.

Anyone in a 3-4 ft cone at viewing distance is likely very happy(incl me.):)
