Sharp 12K service menu: what does what?

I've had a lot of fun playing around with the user menu settings on my 12K in an attempt to improve the image. However, there are still the service menu settings. As is typical of most service menus, many settings have rather cryptic labels, making it difficult to know what it is they adjust. Since a slip-up by an inexperienced hand could possibly render the projector unusable, I'm hesitant to just go in and start making changes.


Does anyone have enough experience with the service menu of the 12K, or possibly the 10K, to tell me what the various options are? I'm specifically interested in tweaking the DMD/color wheel timing, as I've heard that getting this spot-on leads to the most accurate colors. Can this be done without equipment, or is some type of light meter needed?
