Sharp 32ga5u 480i issue

hi guys, im hoping you all can help me with an issue im having

I bought a Sharp 32ga5u set several months ago (love it) and it works great except for one major problem, when a 480i source is sent to the component inputs, the picture is set to the wrong clock. I can tell this because vertical lines appear throughout the picture making it look like a mosaic tile piece, by this i mean you can tell the picture is not lining up correctly on the vertical plain. I concluded this is due to an inaccurate clock setting sense the same appears on my pc input when the clock for it is set at anything but 66.

I ordered a service manual, and got it in today, however entering the actuall service menu is proving to be a pain, as the keys dont appear to work. I've contacted mike about this, and await his answere, but untill then i wanted to see if anyone knew of this issue and how to fix it?

It appears on all sourse, but is most noticable with my PS2 (as it uses 480i for nearly all its content). It does not appear if i use the s-video or compsoite inputs, but who the heck would want to use those? lol
