Anyone been able to break the UPP price protection anywhere. I just saw this set. For where I sit (about 9-11 feet) I can use it as A MONITOR and not squint.... kinda nice.
I was also impressed at the black level (for non-local dimming). When you have a good computer (Ivy Bridge laptop) setup, I was shocked as to how the white and black test patters came out with just basec in store settings (movie mode, backlight at normla etc).
Granted the Elite was better (next to it) but you could really only tell in 100% dark room.
I would have assumed this is the 80" panel blown up, however this looks like a different panel.
