Hello. I have a ceiling recess (and desired screen size) that forces a 1.5 or less throw ratio.

I read on one post that the minimum throw ratio for the Sharp 9000 was ~1.8, and on another thread that the Sharp may be available with zoom lenses to change this.

Anybody have confirmation of this? Is the only alternative an Isco anamorphic lens if Sharp doesn't sell one built for this projector?

Anybody know if there would be image degradation with either alternative?

I'm in the same boat as far as throw ratio, so I've been asking for confirmation regarding a wide angle adapter for the Sharp DLP.

I've never received a definitive "yes", but there have not been any negatives.

I suspect we will see one eventually, and some comments in previous posts have indicated that ISCO might be the lens maker. I don't think that we are talking about an anamorphic lens, it would just be some add-on optics.

Did anyone at CEDIA pick up any info on this?

(In other words, this is a long winded bump.)
