hi, im looking into buying a new hdtv. ive read some nice things about this sharp. and ive seen it in person and like the picture. my only question is whether or not it accepts both 720p and 1080i signals. i understand that the native resolution is 720p, but will the tv accept 1080i and convert it? if anyone can help it would be great, ive looked all over and couldn't find anything.

Actually that Sharp is 768p, not 720p. As far as i know, any flat panel display that's 768p will scale a 1080i signal to it's native resolution.
