Hey,

I just purchased a TV. The box and a sticker on the back claim lc40e77u (a 120Hz TV)

However, I can not seem to locate the Enhanced Fine Motion in the menu.

It's not greyed out or anything, it simply does not exist.

Now I am concerned that I may have payed for a lc40e67u (which is 60 Hz).

I need to know if there is a way I can go through the menu and find out the correct model number, because other than that particular menu option the two models are identical in features (so far as I know) and can easily be confused.

Hopefully someone can help me sort out this mess.

Thanks.

Since the TVs are so similair (ie except for the fact that the 77u has 120Hz and Fine Motion Technology), the manual for them is the same and lists both models on the cover.

It also appears that the two models look the same physically.

Thanks.

So the manual makes no menntion of this feaature(?)

Maybe there is no option to adjust it, and it's just on.

On my LC-60E77U the option is found under: Menu/Picture/Advaanced/Fine Motion Enhanced

hey,

thanks for the quik reply.

However, the manual does state that the 77u (and NOT the 67u) should have the feature available under the menu you listed.

But when I go to that particular menu, I don't see this option at all.

This makes me wonder if the TV is indeed a 67u.

But then theres that label on the back which clearly indicates its 77u.

See my dillema??
