I have an HTPC w/ ATI 8500DV video card feeding a Sharp DT-200 DLP projector. When supplying the PJ w/ an analog signal, I can obtain 1024x768 resolutions, but with DVI input and set to digital I can only obtain 800x600. When I try to run at 1024x768 in setup that resolution is not shown, so I uncheck the "show resolutions that monitor can display" button to allow me to force it into 1024x768 but when I do, I then have to "pan" the screen as the image is larger than the screen. Why will it show perfectly in analog and not in digital? Is there a setting I'm missing?

Is anyone familiar with this setup? Is powerstrip required to output 1024x768 on this PJ? Help please.

check your manual. only vesa support for that resolution
