Sharp Lamp Replacement Indicator

Just replaced blub in my ancient xv-z9000u projector...plugged back in, then turned on projector, made several unsucessful attempts at resetting lamp timer...Projector shut down and Lamp Replacement Indicator stays red....Bummer, so much for the simple $400 lamp replacement. Short of visiting a service center any one know of a procedure to turn off the indicator light and allow the projector to power up again? Frustrated...Planned party Saturday night with movies...Cardawg50

....you need to push a combination of buttons on the rear of the projector. The procedure is set forth in your user's manual.

Jedi, I unplugged the unit for about an hour...Pressed the button combination many many times... After untold attempts the projector fired up! It was merely a test of my patience and persistence! Thanks for the recommendation
