I'm going to be buying a 32" tv for our bedroom this week. I've been looking at the Sharp LC-32SB23U/24U and the Vizio VW32LHDTV40A recently. They are both $397 at my local Walmart right now.


I've compared the PQ, specs and the reviews on this site and others and they both look very similar. I'll be using this for movies, sports, and to hook my Xbox360 to it.


What are people's opinions on these two tv's? I just can't make up my mind.

pwcracer, I'm looking at the same two sets and am having a hard time deciding also. I haven't been able to find out much about either.

My answer is neither. If you want decent contrast, go with Samsung 450 or 550, any Panasonic, or Sony M series or better (stay away from L series).
