Sharp LC-42D72U (I "think" this is the one)

Well, after spending WEEKS reading through all the forums I think I have found my new TV. I'm going with the Sharp AQUOS LC-42D72U because it seems like a great middle to high end set that will fit my needs. I'm not very happy with the price but I want one this month. I'll be using the set for the following content so if I'm choosing the wrong set based on the content I watch PLEASE let me know. Thanks!


50% SD (Standard Def) TV shows, news mostly

25% HD (Sopranos, LOST, ETC)

25% DVD Movies (About 2-3 a month)



BTW: This is a hell of a hard TV to find!

Cool man ill be getting the Sharp LC-32D62U in about a month too
, its not the same one but the same series i think.

You might want to get the 72U it has a higher contrast ratio (I think) and it's an updated version.
