Sharp Lc-45GD4U

I am ust wondering if someone can tell me this set's native resolution. is it 720p or 1080i? I know it does 1900x1280 or so, but I am curious about the native resolution.

Thanks sooo much. I thought I read on here that it was 720p. I know it cant do 1080p correct?

you should read the 'official lc-45' thread. It supposed to be able to 1080p, but i've found out through here that it cant. Not the best person to be talkin to. But i do know its 1080i.

thanks for all of the info. I think that through a hack it should be able to do 1080p. it has the resolution for it.

The native resolution is 1920x1080 for certain, but I believe only the "GX" version will accept 1920x1080p input. I'm sure the official Sharp 45" LCD thread will give you all the info you need.

I saw today that Costco.com has an awesome price on the LC-45GD6U.
