Hello,

I'm struggling between SHARP LC-52LE925UN, LC-52LE820UN and LC-52LE810UN. What's the major difference between 925 and 820/810 besides 3D technology? Since 925UN is much more expensive than 820/810 model, I don't think 3D will cost that much. Does 925 have a much much better pic quality than 820/810? How do you think if it worth to pay that much? What is the dynamic contrast ratio for 820/810 model and what's the different b/t them? I love SHARP Quad Pixel Technology and ready to buy one.

PS: what is the dynamic contrast ratio for LC-46LE810UN?

Thanks, Fubird.

Here is the rundown.

810un : Quattron tech, 120hz, sort of matte screen

820un : same as 810un but with a glass in front which is a bit more reflective but adds better contrast

920un : Quattron tech, 240hz, glass front, better contrast then 820un

925un: same as 920un but with 3D and bit more contrast again I believe.

So basically, between the 810 un and the 925un you get: 3D, front glass, better contrast, 240hz motion blur reduction instead of 120hz.

If 3D is not important for you but would still like the better contrast and 240hz, you should look at the 920un instead of the 925un.
