I think Sharp makes a good projector.
What are you planning to do with it?
It's bright and contrast ratio is okay it's a "business" projector but probably does an okay job of scaling wide screen content - all projectors have to scale image unless it's 16:9 or 4:3.
It's inexpensive - relatively speaking - and it will accept up converted dvd HDMI with an adapter via the DVI input.
Our first projector was a wonderful Canon "business" native projector and it did a simply outstanding job of throwing movie images when in Cinema Mode so this Sharp is probably a good dual use compromise for both PC presentations and HD TV/Movie viewing.
