I recently had an instore demo of a sharp 12000 at a home theater store in Calgary. I was very impressed by the overall picture, but notice an irritating flicker on bright scenes. It reminded me of a computer screen set to 60hz. It was being fed by a Krell DVD player. When I asked the salesman about it he said he thought something was wrong with the DVD player. I know I certainly wouldn't buy the projector until I could see it flicker free. I was wondering if anybody here has seen that before, and if it is most likely due to the projector or the DVD player?
