The Sharp Z90 has come down quite a bit in price here in HK, to about USD 2,000. I am a current Z1 owner but have been having some problems with my Z1 and am considering to replace with either the HS10 (USD2k), AE300 (USD1.7k) or Z90. Albeit the former two are LCD and the Z90 is DLP, all are within the same price bracket here in HK as indicated above.

My issues with the HS10 are the bulb problems and with the AE300 the lack of 1:1 pixel mapping (I use an HTPC). And both units of course would be prone to dust blobs versus the sealed Z90.

With the Z90 I really see no drawbacks (except for price up until now) with the exception of screendoor - which is definitly more noticable than the HS10 and AE300. I don't think this is a deal breaker since I will be viewing from +12', however was hoping to get some feedback on how this projecter performs with an HTPC.

I appreciate all of the good information from both Guitarman and Sushi on the Z90, but was hoping to get more opinions on this projector.

I have not seen that many threads on the Z90, is there something I'm missing?
