I got the sharp LC32D41U 32inch and I only had it for a day. I don't know if there is a problem with the tv or it's suppose to be like that. When I am watching cable tv sometimes all of a sudden the screen shows lots of red dots all over the screen and it looks really bad. Then also the other thing is the tv image turns into red diagonal lines and the image is distorted. Is it my wiring or just the tv? The image also jumps like crazy so much that it is impossible to see anything. But it does stop after a few minutes.

I've got the same problem. Just recently my LC32D4U began to exhibit a moving array of these red dots in sort of stripes across the screen. The sound and picture work fine but the red dots are ever-present on top of the picture.


Can anyone shed some light on this issue? Can this be remedied by a firmware update or is this hardware failure?
