I purchased this receiver for a budget whole house audio system because it has hook up and control of 4 independent sets of speakers.


I am wondering if there are discrete remote codes for changing the speakers on/off. The remote only allows you to cycle through modes (A on, B on, Both on, Both off). If there were discrete codes, this would be perfect.

It appears to only be set up as a 2 Zone receiver, however, if you connect a 4-Zone impedance matching speaker selector like this one, it should do the job for you.

It is only 2 zone, but 4 sets of speakers that can be turned on and off independently. I have impedance matching volume controls hooked up to the speakers, so I don't need a speaker switch.


I am really looking for discrete IR remote codes to turn on/off the A/B/C/D speakers. I doubt they exist for a cheap receiver like this, but thought I 'd ask.
