I had a Fujitsu 50" plasma for the past 1 1/2 years. It's performed flawlessly. I'm redoing my audio system. Is it necessary to use a shielded center channel speaker with a plasma? I was thinking about going with a Polk TC265i in wall speaker, but none of their in wall speakers are shielded. Is this even an issue with plasma TVs? The speaker would be just under the bottom of the display which is already wall mounted. Alternative center speaker would be a Niles HD-CTR which is magnetically shielded. However, I'm planning on using Polk RC85i front speakers, Polk RC65i rear speakers and a Polk PSW404 subwoofer so I'd prefer the Polk TC265i as the center speaker if shielding is not an issue. Thanks.
