I bought some floorstanding speakers, wanted to know if there is a way I can elevate them just a bit. say 3-6 inches.

I cannot find any such stand, pedestals, mounts. Do any of you know a place to get them or am I stuck w/DIY route?

Mana Acoustics makes something called Soundbases that will elevate the speaker about 3 inches and will also improve the performance of your speakers. I use their amp rack to support my hi-fi gear, many professionals use their racks and supports as well. They have a website and forum if you're looking for more info. Do a google search to find them.
