I am a new member have be reading a while and am impressed with the knowledge on this forum. I have finished a lower level theater room and have some issues. I would like to get 100" diag at 10'6. The ceiling is pre wired with s video and componet. I would like to not have the room blacked out completley as we will also be viewing sports on Direct tv.Any help on what projector you recommend?

Thank you

You can hit that screen size with the Panasonic PT-AE500 and the Sanyo PLV-Z2 by using their zooms. Not sure what your viewing distance is, but you'll need to view from far enough way to have a decent picture - about 1.5 - 1.6x the width (not diagonal) of the screen. Also, if you have a lot of light in the room these may not be bright enough for you.

(I'm assuming 10'6" is throw distance from the front of the PJ lens. You can play with these figures at projectorcentral.com.)
